Trying to write in this thing as much as I say I'm going to is really hard. So I've been home for almost 3 weeks now and it's been pretty ok I guess. I've been working a lot and doing my school shit which is really hard to keep up on. Soooo, some new c.d.'s have come out that I've forced myself into either getting, downloading, or getting burned copies from other people. First c.d. I got when I was home...Punk Goes Acoustic 2. I enjoy it because I love acoustic versions of songs, they are really fun and easier to learn on guitar if I ever wanted to play them. So yeah, definitely a good pick up. Second c.d., Linkin Park's "Minutes To Midnight." I also enjoy this c.d. for a few reasons. The main reason, it is different from what they've done before and a little change is usually pretty good, not always good, but usually good. Third, Nine Inch Nails' "Year Zero" from the request of Mark Donker (shout-out) because he is a huge fan and told me that I might like this one. I'm not a big Nine Inch Nails fan but I am kinda into this one. It's got some good beats on it and that's fun. Fourth c.d. was Dashboard Confessional's re-release of "Dusk And Summer" because it is the "eluxe Edition" which basically means there are 3 more tracks on it. One of them is the song "Vindicated" which was originally made for the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack. I am not really sure how come they didn't put it on the c.d. the first time around since it was already out and known. But there are 2 live songs, "Ghost Of A Good Thing" and "Best Deceptions" the latter of which is one of my favorite D.C. songs of all time and I love playing it on the guitar. So my fifth pick-up which is my favorite so far is The Used's new c.d. "Lies For The Liars." It has not been taking out of c.d. player in my car since I got it because it is that awesome. My favorite songs so far are "Earthquake", "Find A Way", and "Tunnel" because they all strike me in a different way, which is a good thing. I downloaded Maroon 5's new c.d. "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" which I am yet to listen to. The main reason I downloaded it is because Krissy (shout-out) wanted it and I only listened to like 2 songs. It seems ok, I don't really know yet though. But I don't have much else to say right now, I have to keep writing more songs so eventually I can record them and have something to do with myself aside from work and school because as we know, all work and no play make P.J. a dull boy, and chicks don't dig dull boys. And that's all I have for now because I have to be up in 6 and a half hours and Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind is on so I have to watch that and enjoy myself. Until next time...
