So, the new C.D. doesn't come out until next week, but me, once again impatient, downloaded it off the internet, but after listening to it, I will definitely buy it. The album "When You're Heart Stops Beating" has a little bit of the Blink-182 ring to it, but not much. Every once in a while, there's that drum beat thrown out there by Travis and it just makes you think Blink. Even though Mark is still singing, it doesn't remind me much of Blink-182 because for one reason or another, maybe the music, he has a different sound in his voice. But there's a lot more of an electronic sound to this album, like they must have used synthesizers more on this one. There was an article in the latest issue of Alternative Press about (+44) and Mark and Travis went through and explained every song on the disc as well as what their favorites were. One of my favorite songs is titled "Make You Smile" and it features original vocalist Carol Heller. She is also in the demo version of the song "No It Isn't" but does not appear on the album version. She was the original guitarist and part-time vocalist, along with Mark, however she decided that she would rather start her family instead so she dropped out. But from what I've read, they're still on good terms, and that would make sense since she does appear on one of the songs. Anyways, well worth picking up. That's all I have to say about that. I read recently on the blog of a guitarist of one of my favorite bands (The Early November) that he listed his 100 favorite songs of all time, and I was thinking, that's crazy, I should try to do that. So I'm going to start work on that, and as soon as I figure it out, it's going on here even though absolutely no one reads this...except Lauren, haha.

NEW (+44) ALBUM!
